Loren: Well as you know, there were only two pure supernaturals in our family. I don’t count as used an elixir to become a fairy all those years ago. But anyway, the first was one of my first children, Justin. He inherited the werewolf gene which didn’t actually come from me, but his father, Liam. At first Justin hated it, but he soon learned to control it. And then there was my granddaughter, Darcy Hale. Because the supernatural gene was now flowing through the family, Darcy became a witch. However she did this by choice. Different supernaturals work in different ways. You can’t choose to become a werewolf, you inherit the gene. But you can practice witchcraft and become a witch! As long as you have the right blood, sweetie! However, there is nothing wrong with being human.
Robin: What? No way! I don’t wanna be human. I want to be unique! Magical! It’s a gift! So you don’t need to take the ambrosia to activate the supernatural in you?
Loren: No, you don’t. Whatever you do, do not play around with ambrosia. It’s dangerous stuff. But honey, being a supernatural isn’t always a gift, it can be a curse. With great power comes great responsibility. You must know that. Living a human life, well, I personally think it’s a beautiful thing. There is a lot of dangers and risks when being a supernatural.
Robin: Hmmm, maybe you’re right. Thanks Loren, I’m glad I know everything now. Finally.
